Hi, I'm Sam.

Above all else, I am a mother. My three wild and wonderful children are my heart and soul and its them that sparked my love for documenting families, but my love of photography started long before they came along.



For as long as I can remember, photography has defined who I am. As a little dreamer and observer, I spent my childhood behind the lens of disposable cameras. Later in my teens I taught myself how to use my first real camera, little did I know set the path of my life with the click of a shutter.

As a child I felt quite lost, I spent a long time trying to find where I belonged. Through art I felt grounded, and through photography I found my voice. I worked hard to hone my craft and taught myself everything I could about photography.  Through hard work and dedication, I have had the pleasure of studying photography at top universities in both New York and San Francisco and worked under brilliant professionals and with some of my dream clients. I have been able to turn my passion into a career all while raising my family full time.

 Early in my career I knew I loved photographing people and authentic moments. I found wedding photography to be thrilling and allowed me to express my photography voice while capturing love filled moments that were so special to people. In 2015 I married my high school sweetheart and gave birth to our beautiful son, Max. After creating a family of my own and slowing down I met so many wonderful alike families and through that experience, I have found a strong passion for family and newborn photography. Since then, I have been so lucky to photograph so many beautiful families throughout the years.

Photography is who I am, how I communicate and I love sharing it with people. I am so honored to have been trusted to photograph so many beautiful moments. I love that photography has brought me to so many places and allowed me to meet so many amazing people.
